small additions

And couple of small additions I have made are as follows

The first is I added a power socket that is wired in directly to the battery with 18 gauge wire and a 15 amp fuse. This will allow me to charge the battery or plug in a variety of accesories such as a heated suit or a gps. The outlet in the glove box only is rated for 4 amps so you may charge your cell phone and it would not be a good idea to ride with the box open

The second addition I have added are a couple of screws under the seat so I may add the owners manual to the location it belongs so it no longer flops around. As for the screws make sure there are no threads at the top end as you do not want to cut the o-ring

Yes mine came with the band (o-ring)
I have seen a few different scooters. One had the switch to turn the headlights off altogether and another one, in both the glove boxes had little guards to prevent stuff from falling out i only had this in the right box. I want to add another power socket below the seat somewhere but have not found a location yet. I need about 1.25" diameter and 2.5" depth to complete this (maybe in the floor board).

Man, those are sweet! Did you just solder the wires on yourself? Or did you get it done by someone? Looks cool!

My latest addition to the scooter.
I bought a Garmin 350LM as they have a $100 mail in rebate. I opened up the cover in the center of the steering column and found a plug there (i think for the BMW gps. I tested for the positive wire then I cut the plug off and soldered the gps wires directly to the bmw wires. Now this will turn my gps on or off with the ignition. The plug was there and I was never going to use it for any other thing.
I then mounted the gps on the top of the back brake master Cylinder with a mount I got with the gps. It works great
