My Rear TPMS was playing up on my C650GT ( 2014) After looking for a while on Youtube, how to change the Battery only and get it working again?? Watched many times. As I needed a new R-Tyre; I decided to give it a go...I took my time and installed the Battery . Tyre back on and I took it for a 25 Km run. Didn't work but somewhere ( I think it was in this Forum) I is was reading to give it time after Battery - replacement in the TPMS. 2 days later > Today I was going on the HWY for an hour and what a surprise, when I got home ...It's working !!!! Time will tell. Thanks to everyone; Norman

Congratulations, must be satisfying!

I decided just to buy new tpms sensors for mine as I don't have the ability to change the tires myself, so not wanting to risk having to do it all twice.

I went to a tyre place
$ 10.- to take it off and 10.-to put the new one on. I guess I was lucky that the " computer" accepted the job so far. Of course it would be better what you have done.

Wow great deal. My service provider initially wanted to charge me something like $350 to change a set of tires. I think I paid $180 in the end. Santa Monica is expensive for some things I guess.

My Rear tire sensor failed when I was on my longest day ride, My son was with me and had a tire pressure gauge with him so we determined it was the battery in the TPM and continued the ride (260 miles). I ordered an aftermarket sensor for $25 on Amazon, took about a month to get from China. The dealer cost for the TPM was close to $200 so I thought I would take a chance with an aftermarket part. The local motorcycle shop removed the tire for me then I tried to replace the battery in the stock TPM but it looked really marginal if the contacts would really make good connection so I installed the aftermarket part. I then had the local shop remount the tire. After that I used the 911 code reader to set the serial number of the new TPM. Seems to work great no issue after about 3K miles so far.
