Volume control issue.

I have a 2024 CE04 that is paired with Schuberth C4 helmet with their SRC-System, and the helmet is paired with a Samsung phone. Everything works properly, i.e., I can listen to navigation instructions and music streaming off of my phone. I cannot, however, use the handlebar controller to adjust the volume of the devices. The only way to change the volume is to use the helmet mounted system and the buttons are hard to find with gloves on. Does anyone have a suggestion to get this to work properly? Did I not link something in the proper order or a setting on the phone not properly configured?

I too have the C4, but it was necessary to upgrade to the new C5 and the new comm system.

The total cost to have everything sink completely was about $1200. Unfortunately it’s your comm system that needs to be replace, as the new comm will not plug into your C4 helmet.

Don't quote me on this, but i think if you connect the phone and the helmet to the bike, while disconnecting your phone from the helmet, you'll be able to use the controller on the handlebar.

I ordered my C5 and SC2 from Europe and got it for less than the cost of the helmet in the US. I used FCmoto and have ordered a ton from them with no issues.

Ordered the Shuberth C5 and SC2 from FCmoto. $971.58 and arrived quicker than I thought it would. Linked it to the scooter and everything works perfectly. I like the new helmet, quite a lot of upgrades from the C3. It was cool that I could say, " hey Google, call my office" and it worked.

I think it is the quietest helmet I've ever had; maybe the most comfortable, and certainly the most versatile. I rode with Arai helmets, which are known for being quiet, up until now. This C5 is substantially quieter than the Arai. However, it is also quite a bit heavier. 100% a keeper helmet.

Guys I have a schuberth c5 with sc2 and had the same problem.. it's actually the way you connect the devices to each other.

So here are the steps:
1. Reset all connections so nothing is connected to each other.
2. Connect helmet to bike.
3. Connect phone to bike.
4. Make sure the helmet is NOT connected to your phone via bluetooth.

btw. I do feel the audio quality is better when the phone is connected to the helmet directly.
