2024 CE04 Avant Garde, no alarm installed. There are 2 plugs at rear of seat that the dealer didn't know about.
The red arrow points to a factory installed Trickle Charger plug.
The purple arrow points to a plug that has 3 led lights with the lower green one that flashes when parked. There is a 2-prong orange plug under the cap.
Does anyone know what the function of this plug is?plugs far 2.jpgplugs up close 2.jpg

Well maybe it's a new thing they do for the 2024 models, earlier models don't have it but it make sense to have one, the main battery is the one suppose to charge the small one for the computer, I saw a few posts on a French Facebook page where people had to charge there small one. For me it's my first winter and we are not allow to drive our two wheels if we don't have snow tires (I leave in Montreal Quebec Canada) but I've been checking the main battery and it's stable a 76% right now in the garage, if it goes down that mean it recharge the small one.
Best regards and enjoy the ride!

Purple is a CTEK 12v battery charger plug. For what it's worth, you do not need to use a trickle charger with the CE04 at all - the bike automatically maintains the onboard 12v battery as long as the high voltage battery state of charge is above 20%, regardless of if the bike is switched on or not or if it is plugged into the wall charger or not - periodically the bike's electrics will wake from deep sleep into a low power state to check the health of the 12v battery, if it is low the bike will start the onboard DC-DC converter to recharge the 12v battery.

Thanks for the info. I have never heard of CTEK chargers before. At least I know what the flashing light is for. I'm surprised that BMW would put 2 different charge plugs on the bike. They must have installed this:

Yep. I had one on T-max, it is very good. Six stages, you can leave it connected for years and it will maintain battery like new.
it will float on stages 5 and six when fully charged. It will detect if battery cannot absorb, and will get stuck on earlier stages indicating bad battery needing replacement. Tuned to acid or gel batteries chemistry, lithium needs another type of charger.
