2025 TPMS

Glad to hear this is working out for everyone. Based on Bill's success, I ordered the sensors and screws from my dealer for my '24 C400GT and installed with my homebuilt tire changer. Used my GS911 to enable the screens on the TFT that show the tire pressures. HOWEVER, there must be more to this since I am not reading the sensors and now getting an error message. Looks like I'm going to have to reach out to dealer.
A very useful report to folks here who have the equipment that you have.

I assume that this is NOT your problem, but just to make sure: you are aware that you won't get a pressure readout until the bike gets up to 19mph (I believe), right? On the other hand, once installed neither will you get an error message -- just dashes, until the speed is reached.

I hope you have a friendly Beemer dealer you can ride to. Looking forward to what a shop will say, and charge.

Good luck.

Yep. I've ridden it at least 100 mies since install. Message below. I'll report back when I talk with dealer.

First of all thanks for this information.

Have you tried to clear the error message?

Also there is a tool you can purchase at Amazon that will pair your sensers from each wheel to your bike. (I remember that was all they had to do with my Indian Challenger, and everytime I have DiscountTire put on my snow tires I have to remind them to pair them to the vehicle.) Also you may have to ride your bike 15 to 20 miles to get the sensors to kick in. The tool they used on the Indian was one of the cheap ones purchased on Amazon but who knows if that will work on the BMW? I'll bet all they have to do is pair the sensors to the bike. Keep us informed please.

Hey, Mgg,

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, it immediately comes back after clearing. If you are referring to the EL-50448 tool, (Saw it on another bike forum), doesn’t appear to do anything. I also tried the Xtool TP150 but it doesn’t appear to work with bikes either. The TP150 does work great for cars though. I’m lucky enough to have two dealers within a hour from me. I’ll be calling them tomorrow.

Appointment with dealer tomorrow to enable TPMS. I told service manager I had installed the BMW retrofit sensors and enabled the screens. He didn’t seem to surprised or concerned so we’ll see how it goes…

30 minutes and $90 later everything is working fine. Dealer had to enable TPMS in the firmware.
