    Updated TMAX for 2017?

http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/yamaha/2017-yamaha-tmax-tmax-dx-and-tmax-sx-preview.html Okay, NOW this sounds like SERIOUS competition for the BMW Scooters (assuming they bring it to the States). Heated grips and seat, more underseat storage AND Cruise Control!!!! BMW better step up...

BUT will they sell them in the US that way? Remember: They come with ABS in Europe, but they don't make that option available over here.

Hey!! One of your headlights are burnt out!!

Don't know about the new TMAXes, but the 2009 model I had also had one lamp for low beam, and one lamp for high beam. Nearly ALL manufacturers are doing that nowadays and I have no idea why. I agree... it looks STUPID.

So far the only rumor I've heard is regarding a C400.

You're a brave man. Having experienced traffic in Metro Manila, I wouldn't want anything less than an armored personnel carrier!

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

Back on the original subject: It's really strange to me that BMW has not been at any Americade since 2013. It was my demo ride on the C650GT at that event that sold me on it because our local dealer couldn't (or didn't bother to try) get a demo model for me to ride. The best place to be to...

Probably because none of it really matters. I understand it can do a steady 65 mph on the highway, so it's a "Right Lane Only" bike on the freeway. It's more for enjoying the backroad scenery at a leisurely pace, I think.

    Helmet Sunblocker?

Now is the time of year I'm commuting directly into the sun both ways. Can't wait till next month when we set the clocks back so I can ride some AFTER the sun sets.

    Helmet Sunblocker?

Black electrical tape works just fine and won't leave a mark when you peel it off.

    Helmet Sunblocker?

I've been using Nolan helmets (and Schuberths before them) with built-in sunshields for YEARS. Far better solution.

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

I had the Zero since April; a test ride I took late last year is what convinced me. I had to wait for my NYS tax rebate (from the solar panel installation) before I could actually buy one, though. I rode a Spyder at this year's Americade and just hated it. If I ever get to the point where I...

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

I was VERY surprised BMWNA did NOT bring either scooter to the National Rally in Hamburg, NY this past summer. I would've loved to have tried one to see the difference for myself. VERY strange. Sometimes you really wonder how corporate minds work.
