    2026 BMW C400GT

I do a trip to SD every year. Lots of good rides and stuff to see. One of my favorite trips. The speed limit on Interstate 90 is 80 MPH. We always take that back to our hotel form the Badland's after lunch at Wall Drug. It's about an hour drive and it is 2 lanes going each way. We never have an...

    New member welcome thread..

You got a fast one. I have not been able to get mine over the 87 MPH (indicated by GPS) 91 indicated on speedometer, that the manufacturers says it will go. Of course I weigh 225 lbs as well. It is plenty fast for 99% of my type of riding and it is comfortable for my 71 year old bones. I have...

    2026 BMW C400GT

I use to ride my 300cc Vespa on the freeway. But I rarely took any of my bikes on the interstate. It's just not my kind of riding. I got pushed off the interstate by a car changing lanes who just did not see me on my Vespa. I wasn't a threat. Luckily there was an off ramp there. A friend of...

    2026 BMW C400GT

Another option is the Kymco AK 550, they make an ABS version which is nicly decked out and a Premium version that has cruise control, TPMS, tracktion control, an electronic windshield and other luxury features it is also a twin cylinder that will do 100+ MPH. I sat on the ABS version and started...

Would a BMW C400 GT be right for me?

I havent read what others wrote but here is my 2 cents. I found myself in a similar situation. My Indian Challenger just got to big and heavy to manuver. I tried some lighter bikes but did not like them. Looked at the automatic Honda I think its the 1100 cc unit and felt it was uncomfortable and...

    2025 TPMS

First of all thanks for this information. Have you tried to clear the error message? Also there is a tool you can purchase at Amazon that will pair your sensers from each wheel to your bike. (I remember that was all they had to do with my Indian Challenger, and everytime I have DiscountTire...

BMW C 400X DAYLIGHT not working

Thanks this is really good information. I have one of those readers for setting resetting the service reminder after an oil change but would not have thought of this. Makes perfect sense though.

I wrote Kymco about the AK 575 Premium availability in the US about 8 months ago

I am right on the fence about this. One week I am ready to call and place my order and the next week I am doing a pro's and con's list. One of the things on my con's list was that the AK 575 will likely come to the US in. From browsing the Facebook forum it has been confirmed that the 2026...

It mentioned cruise control in this AI review? I'll beleive it when I see it. So it looks like this was already posted and called BS!

    2025 TPMS

From everything I've read is sounds like it either has to be programed or at least told that the TPMS is there. BMW is very secretive about such things. With Indian there were so many people DIY that they posted about it. I know that with the stereo upgrade kit, it told you in the instructions...

    2025 TPMS

Do you know that they have to be programed? I mean they could be plug and play. I think mine were on the Indian Challenger. Also I added heated grips and the bike new they were there and if you upgraded the stereo it automatically added a graffic equilizer. But I guess being BMW it's probably not.

I wrote Kymco about the AK 575 Premium availability in the US about 8 months ago

I sat on and started a used 2023 ABS version at a dealer in Chicago. I thought it looked and sounded great. The dash is amazing. The only thing I was disapointed about was the glove boxes. Nothing wrong with them they just seemed flimsy after using the C400 glove box which have the slow open...

    cruise control

My experiance with the Breakaway and Cruise control on my Indian Challenger and when I used them is very similar to yours. I also tried several throttle locks on my Indian Scout, and the only one I would purchase today is the Breakaway. But I am holding out for true crusie if it becomes available.

    cruise control

I have tried several mechanical cruise controls over the years. The only one I liked was the Breakaway. What I like about this one is that all you have to do is grab the break to unlock it. It's a safety thing. (I had an Atlas once and it did not have that feature maybe they do now?) But even...

    2025 TPMS

I can get the green OK on the oil light in place of the dotted line. I have to have the bike parked in my garage (on level ground) on the back stand, right after a ride. I let it set and idle a few minutes and walla. The OK appears if the oil level is good. I thought it would be something I...

    New BMW c400 GT Backfiring

I don't believe mine has ever backfired. I don't think this is normal. And I have not read that others are having this issue. There coud be a lot of reasons for a bike to backfire but I would think the most likely cause would be either a small exhaust leak or the idle is not set correctly. I...

    2025 TPMS

I am hopeful that this all turns out well and there is little or no programing required. If that is the case someone with a 2023 scooter could potentually get the sensors and have them installed during a tire change for a little over $300.00 from the dealer.
