This is a great post, what is your impression of the 702s you picked up so far? I've heard there is an issue with the mount where it can lose power to the screen periodically depending on road conditions.
Interesting. Thank you for the response. The wheel does nothing for volume for me, in nav, phone or music. How very odd.
Didn't mean to derail this thread, thanks!
Correct, I can navigate to everything, do phone calls etc, but nowhere is the option to change the volume, at least that I can find. The only places I can change volume is full blast on phone, and full on my cardo headset, then it's ALMOST usable.
You're doing this on a C400GT?
When I do this the volume is super quiet and I seem to have no volume controls. How exactly are you controlling the volume if you don't mind? This is typically why I have to use the Cardo directly from the phone, too quiet through the bike passthrough.
I can give my experience. If I have my phone connect to the bike, then my phone ALWAYS wants to use the bike as the audio output. I have to very specifically tell my phone to use something else, like a Cardo, to not have it go through the bike. This is every single time the bike ignition...
Slightly related, I had a Windrider cover on my previous Honda PCX bike, which I had to work with them a little bit on via email since my 2024 model wasn't in their list yet, but they had me take some specific pictures of my bike to send them and a couple weeks later my cover arrived. It did...
I'm in northeastern Arizona, up in the White Mountains, only about 50 miles as the crow flies from New Mexico. 2022 C400GT here, had a Honda PCX before. This is such a fun bike and highway travel is not a problem either.
Thank you Bill. As always your insight is invaluable. I have actually already ordered, but not received, a Shad top box for my bike. I have the OEM BMW Rack already installed as it came on my used bike. From your other posts about your SHAD box I pulled the trigger knowing I will be able to...
I love my C400GT. I upgraded from a Honda PCX and have no regrets. I loved the PCX too but just couldn't do any highway travel. The BMW easily cruises at 70MPH on highways between cities around me. I haven't taken it on an Interstate yet, closest one is over 40 miles away, but I've done 85...
I have the Givi one, it came on the used bike I got, but I'm 6' 3" and it's so much better than my previous bike. Keeping mine on for sure. I am still getting 75+ MPG.
