It may be worth to check (with a tensioner/extender) or replace the clutch flyout springs. I seemed to have had a similar situation until i have replaced the clutch with a Dr.Pulley one. That also helped continuity of torque.

I think you might want to check the clutch pads, replace with Dr.Pulleys HiT 302002 model clutch like I did. Mine was also shot at about 30000 km (19k miles) but it did not squeal, it just slipped sometimes, so torque was floating when I gave it gas. Dr.Pulleys does not slip at all as it locks...
