    Bmw c650gt

Turning off - how? Does the dash turn off? Or do you mean “engine stall” but electrics OK?

Hesitation has been taken care finally

was there any clutch issues? theoretically, asymmetric clutch engagement causes excessive vibration leading to that hesitation

When you think of upgrading from a C650, what bikes you consider?

I have enjoyed a ton if engine braking on both Kymco Downtown 300i and T-max IronMax 530 for years, C650 is weaker in this regard unless you get a clutch that stays connected for longer, like Dr.Pulley’s. Even the stock clutch has a too large neutral spot around idle RPMs so yes it need...

By the way, these guys may soon provide an answer. https://news.imotorbike.com/en/2025/03/cfmoto-cvt-engine/

When you think of upgrading from a C650, what bikes you consider?

    You mean MT-Max 700 (CP2 engine) surely ;)

    something happened

There are very limited bike upgrade options to keep enjoying CVT and improve performance. And yeah, I am from the opposite camp.

    something happened

OK here is an update. It was Dr.Pulley's HiT clutch having issues. I don't know HOW can it get "broken" at very high speed when it is fully and properly engaged but it did. We have replaced the Blue (BL) 5.2Kg clutch springs that engaged at 840 rpm (and possibly scratched the bell even at idle)...

    Malossi Force Master 3 feedback?

Just out of curiosity - has anyone here used Force Master 3 ? Any issues, feedback on usage ? Fuel consumption ? Stink out of exhaust ? Engine wear or failures ? Dirtier oil ? Anything ...

Slight Belt Slipping Sound Upon Take Off

Squeal could also come from the clutch that may need de-glazing. I've had way more issues with the clutch than the variator / belt.

When you think of upgrading from a C650, what bikes you consider?

What I mean is not “add another bike” but “get rid of C650 and use this instead”

Engine stalling when slowing - test idle control device?

It is kind of weird that the bike says you have an O2 (aka lambda) sensor issue and you spend money and effort elsewhere.

Malossi Variator with rollers 22g and 24g

Finally, the weight of the rollers, and the angle of the variator bell define how fast your gearing ratio will change. If it changes too slowly because you have very light rollers, then your ratio is not cohesive to the engine torque exhibited, it does not translate to velocity (horsepower...

Malossi Variator with rollers 22g and 24g

Also the “racing” word I read as follows - “lose the race and you lose your scooter” then that makes crazy revs justifiable. This does not apply to me though, so I take heavier rollers all the time. Each 1g of 8 rollers adds 8g total rotating mass, decreasing RPMs by about 200. With J.Costa that...

Malossi Variator with rollers 22g and 24g

From my point of view, many aftermarket variators have too crazy high revs. This can lead to excessive wear and fuel consumption, also increased heat buildup. The OEM rollers are 43g for 2016+models. Prior models had inferior variator which should be replaced. I am enjoying Dr.Pulley’s 42g...

    Fuel Warning Question

~80km on my Sport. The rider manual actually has the number you seek. It is not super-precise as you may run out sooner if going on a fast highway up a slope, as happened to me once (73km). I reckon in leisurely straight ride it may last up to a 100km if you never stop and go at easy cruise only.

Long-Distance Touring on a BMW Scooter – Is It Feasible?

I rode over 7000km in three weeks in Australia, from Melbourne to King Canyon and back. Very comfy but I have got 11 upgrades installed on my C650 Sport. The only thing mildly annoying is suspension quite “lively” on Sport, less so on GT. But this becomes a benefit in the mountain twisties, so...
