    Head lamp Assembly C600

Both plastic catches snapped ? Do you have the pieces? Try some super glue. If not fashion a couple from epoxy putty . You will have to take it out of the fairing to do it right. I would try it to save 1K.

I went in to the local Honda dealer to look around. I asked if there was any word of the"X ADV" . The new salesman I talked to claimed he didn't know anything about it. There is a video on the internet ( professionally done) that says we will find something out August 30th...

    Dunlop ScootSmart Tires

Of course, the Pirelli's my Sport came with were the worst holding motorcycle tires I ever owned. The Dunlops held the road better, they just self destructed.

    Notch Tour 2016

Sorry, the Notch Tour has been rescheduled to September 23, 24, 25. I was checking hotel prices, and found with the upturn in the economy, hotel vacancies down , prices up, over last year. I am staying at the Hillside Inn, in Killington VT. Again this is an informal Rally, based on riding the...

    2013 C600 sport; California

I thought about trading mine for a 2017, but, found that it was depreciating faster than I was paying for it. ( I guess the insurance I bought to protect me if I totaled the bike, so I would get what I owe for it, was an ominous investment) I have been paying extra every month which is keeping...

    Parking brake needed adjusting

You may think that the pads don't touch the rotor, when the brake is not actuated, but, the caliper does not move that uniformly for both sides to retract from touching everytime or evenly. Plus the actuating mechanisim will stick if not periodically cleaned and lubricated. If you don't think...

    Parking brake needed adjusting

These parking brake pads do wear, although slowly. The geometry of it is that a small amount of wear shows up as a large movement of the actuating lever due to mechanical advantage. They will wear out eventually. If you adjust your cable 1/4", that is way more than a two foot long cable would...

    Dunlop ScootSmart Tires

In quality control if the first pieces out of a box are bad, you flunk the whole box. A front and rear tire bought at different times, both failed with the same problem, that is a bad sign.I don't know how they could win me back.

New Admore Smart Light Bar installed

I read somewhere , that the Japanese studied what would attract attention, and found that a "face" like look, attracts attention best. My opinion is, we need every car to have those automatic braking systems. And, guess what, automatic braking was developed in the 1950's, and we are just...

    Gaspe'

Gaspe' North shore The North Coast of the Gaspe' had some long beaches, which I didn't expect. Then there were long stretches where the mountains came down to the ocean and the road was blasted out of rock.

Trying to find out why I can't post pictures, seems it is a file size problem. I reduced this pic of the longest covered bridge in the world.

    Change of heart.

Although, every once in a while I see a write up of an electric scooter from start-ups, a couple I would get for around town, if they ever started making them.

    Dunlop ScootSmart Tires

Those tires worked fine on the Silverwing, they failed. It was a quality problem.
