Couldn't find the pair of Metzler's in any online tire seller.
After an exhausted search I bought the following tires from:

Accessories International

Intl: 786-242-5400

Code Name Quantity Price/Ea. Total
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WPS87-4287 Shinko SR567 Scooter Tires 120/70-15 Front 1 $46.95 $46.95
WPS87-4512 Shinko SR568 Scooter Tires 160/60-15 Rear 1 $62.95 $62.95
Shipping: Standard Shipping: $29.99
Sales Tax: $0.00

Total: $139.89

Price is certainly fair and they get good reviews. I have 6500 miles on the original tires and the dealer told me they needed replacing. I'll get 8000 miles on the OE tires and with that poor mileage I don't mind trying something different.

I never seemed to get more than about 6000 miles out of any of the tires I put on my BMW R1150R and I figured the tires for this bike wouldn't be any different. I am interested to find out how you get along with the Shinko tires after you have a few miles on them. Keep us informed. I have a friend who put Shinko's on his Burgman no complaints from him.

OOPS !!! Spoke two soon. Pushed the button on Shinko's but cancelled after reading these posts and also talking with Motorcycle Tire. Going to order Michelin Power Pure Dual-Compound Monday. Thanks to all who contributed to this decision.

That's what I'm running on now. About two thousand on them and they're looking good. The front is wearing a bit faster than the rear but that's what happened with the OEMs too.

These tire sizes are not the easiest to find. Neither the Bike Bandit nor Motorcycle Superstore had both. I did buy on eBay but from 2 different sellers. JFYI, I paid $71 for the front and $132 for the rear. I have used dual compound Michelins on my Harley and liked the ride and wear. Why do you recon these scoots get such poor tire mileage? Little wheels going fast?
