ive had coolant out of mine too, only after it was laid up but that was the right hand side from the pump. sounds like loctite to me? can't think why though.

i have done over 25 miles on reserve, parked up on the side stand then the light went out again and i covered a few more miles. very random but i kinda know my limits.

over here in the UK we can get 97 or 99 RON fuel and i always use this. many say that there is no difference but i can feel it. better MPG, better power and the peace of mind that these fuels use cleaning addatives. i sypathise with you guy's over the pond that have to use the ethanol stuff but...

to add to this issue, my C600 still has'nt made this noise and i still havn't felt any of the usual belt slip issues i have had with many of the auto's i have owned in all the years of riding. my little vespa does exactly what you guy's are saying and i know that the belt is of an unknown milage...

im going to remove my system again and tack weld the screws, there is no need to ever remove the shield anyway but a tack should break loose if i ever need too. a real nuisance when they rattle though.

some of dimotiv's other accessories look great too, been looking at their master cylinder caps. that headlamp protector does look a great item, need to see pic's when yours turns up.

your dealer should replace the fork under warranty or at least repair the thread. as already mentioned, a Heli-Coil or better still a WURTH TimeSert or similar repair. the only time i have seen pinch bolt thead problems is when they are corroded but this sounds like the thread has picked up on...

another scoot in today with the same problem and the same 2 screws loose. i removed them on this one as they had only backed loose and loctited them in. this time it was a 650gt with 5500 miles on it. keep your eyes out guy's.

i have ridden the S1000RR with this but i havnt used the bike in anger. our sales guy's report how amazing it works when they rode them on the track. all i hear about the system is good reports so i would say that it isnt just hype, i would go for it.

i used the holding tool and turned the shaft to undo the clutch. there is nothing about replacing the nut and tab washer, i would just use your own judgment that it would re-use.

if you do it yourself, either buy the BMW special tool or try and borrow one, great piece of kit and makes the job so much easier.

the front end i would put down to steering bearings need adjusting up. also, you will find when they have been adjusted, as long as your tyres are good, the bike will steer without the shimmying you report.
