As said, needs to be sat ticking over for a while to work, they are so sketchy, i just use my good old manual dipstick.............there again, not checked mine for at least 6 months but i know mine doesnt use a drop. The more gimmicks, the more to play on your mind and go wrong.

    Battery tender

takes only minutes to fit the socket under the seat, GT takes a little longer but the Sport no time at all. as already stated, the wiring amd plug are already there on the loom, i charge through this with no problems at all.

    Battery tender

the power sockets on our scoots will charge through to the battery, the can-bus does'nt shut them down. you have the standard cigarette lighter point in the L/H glove box. wiring and a blank for a BMW socket in the underseat bucket amd a sat-nav point under the handlebar plastic, only the last...

Winter Scooter Usage: Rain in particular

dash will be fine, the switchgear might be an issue though, over here we have a product called ACF50 and it is a spray on anti corrosion solution, quite messy and smelly but works well. if you are just riding through rain all will be ok, again over here, our road maintainance people spread...

    Back Tire

I recon i could have stretched to 8000 miles on my rear pirelli but because it had squared off i rwplaced it at 3500 with my front. It will come in as a spare if i get stuck with a nasty puncture.

    GREAT-LOOKING Exhaust for the C600!

i like the MIVV silencers, i had one in mind for my sport if i could'nt have raised the cash for my akra. i fitted a full MIVV system to a friends multistrada some years ago and it was well made and fitted perfectly. i agree with the black looking good, would look amazing on my black sport.

anyone here with a vespa that can help me ?

this was'nt my first choise of scoot, lol. actually, ive kinda fallen for it, it's such an evil handling little thing it keeps you on your toes. as it is only a 125 the m.p.g. is around 80 to the gallon which is great but...........60mph, flat to the knocker, lol

    Timing chain tensioner recall done

you would instantly notice the noise, i would also expect the noise to happen on startup too.

    Rear Drive Oil Change Interval

now that surprises me, i had to remove a motor from a GT this summer with around 2600 miles on it and when i drained the chain case oil it was very clean. i would expect the gearbox oil to be dirty.

    C600 0-60 times

love it, very impressive. normally with a scoot i would by now have tuned and modded but every time i take it out i still love the performance it has and over here in the UK with more and more 30mph turning to 20mph and 60mph turning to 40mph limit's, you gotta watch your licence.
