if any of you guys do buy one and fit it yourself, make sure you leave the T shaped insert in the tensioner whilst you fit it. once in and tightened then remove. better still, get hold of or buy the backing off tool.

the balance mark will be opposite the valve, this is where the tyre pressure monitor is so you would balance up to that.

yey, a positive thread ;) i own a black 600 sport, it was the last in the uk for 2013 and it was registered 23rd december but only recieved on the 28th. it took a month or so to run it in for it's 600 mile service as in the uk they grit the roads in winter for ice with rocksalt and it just eats...

If it was on a fairly new scooter then it wouldnt have needed an update and the pc will tell you if it needs one or not, so smells like BS To me.

that film looks like the vinyl i used for the panels under the bonnet (hood) of my old car, really good effect and not too tricky to use.

The panel recall wont come into.a 2013 model, if it is fitted with a luggage grid then that will.

i would think that a 2013 model should have had the software update and the side stand switch replaced. so far here in the uk the camchain adjuster isn't a recall.

New switchgear needed im afraid, sinse BMW swapped to the jap bike style swirtches a few years ago, the switches have played up.

this is right andy, a dealer can change the bar to psi if needed, can also change temp, mpg, odometer to km, change indicator self cancel and alarm settings.

i have decided to sell my tunnel bag as i have never used it or even fitted it. still in the box, £70.

That just sounds like the noise of the motor, personally i wouldnt mess around with the snorkel, you might end up restricting air flow.

I would'nt think so, i can't think of a reason why anything like this would stress thr tensioner.

Great write up, good pic's. I really like what you have done, really tidy job. I have ran my charge lead out of my pocket a few times and never had problems with the wire. Good effort, really love it.

Loving this thread, i was getting pretty low about the scoot after all the horror stories but this has made it better. My 600 still hasnt missed a beat and still loving it.
