with my mods I get 5.5-6.2 0-60 times. the difference in times will probably be to clutch heating/slipping.
I hope that next summer to get some drag strip time to see for sure.
I like the looks of the MP3 500's, but for anything longer than a few minutes for me it felt cramped. being able to stretch the legs out and sit a little more relaxed feels great.
you can stretch out on the GS as well but it requires more cost to add additional foot pegs.
Do all the mods I have done and have custom tune installed, like I did....and then see if you still want the 800.
I think you won't. Come up to seattle and try it out. I offered same to zack at cycle magazine when they did c600 comparison on you tube in cali...
I hope they inspected the clutch bell as well. when changing out the clutch make sure you have a clean smooth bell. I wonder if you could take it to the auto shop and turn it like a brake drum? if you needed to.
Does the sound change with engine rpm or speed? If it makes the sound and changes tone per high/low speed; its from clutch back. If it dropes according to throttle it ciuld be clutch to engine. ..if so see your dealer soon.
Can you replicate on center stand?

If after knowing this, and keeping the...
From the flange mount back is about 2.5" . The forks come within 1/4" of the back of the headlight.... to be exact.
Unless you find one that allows the cover to go on, it wont fit.
the plastic part that holds the led arm in is too thick to latch the lamp in. the back area is too deep, and interferes with the fork turning.
I bought off of ebay for 30 or so and thought to try it. the light was quite bright and in the garage I could not distinguish from the halogen or the...
by the Dyno, there are no "gains" just better hook up. lighter rollers allows higher revs before hook up. then you have higher HP available at take off.
all the dyno charts I have show roller and clutch just get the power out better, but don't raise the hp you have from the engine.
