C600 0-60 times

So I've been trying to figure the 0-60 time of the BMW scooters. I've seen published ranges anywhere from 5.5 - 7.5 seconds. Recently found this video of a guy topping out his c600 on youtube. Gets to an impressive 210 kph. I also used a stop watch to see how fast he got to 60mph and after about 10 tries I'm averaging just under 5.5 seconds. I have no idea what other mods may have been made. When I'm on my c600, I feel like it gets to 60mph in under 6 seconds even with the crappy clutch lag but who knows.

 
with my mods I get 5.5-6.2 0-60 times. the difference in times will probably be to clutch heating/slipping.
I hope that next summer to get some drag strip time to see for sure.
 
love it, very impressive. normally with a scoot i would by now have tuned and modded but every time i take it out i still love the performance it has and over here in the UK with more and more 30mph turning to 20mph and 60mph turning to 40mph limit's, you gotta watch your licence.
 
Back in 1999 when BMW first released the K1200LT, there were a bunch of yahoos who were trying to figure out what would be involved with grafting the 130hp, six-speed engine of the K1200RS into the LT since they were so similar, but the LT engine only made 100hp and had only five speeds.

One respondent came up with a response I'll never forget: "Why is it that EVERYBODY feels they have a need to own the fastest school bus on the block??"

Pretty much sums up the way I feel every time I read posts from street riders looking to hop up their vehicles. Unless there's some cash reward for beating everyone from one traffic light to the next, I just don't see the point. And the less stock the vehicle is, the less it is worth at trade-in time.

If you drop your scooter out of an airplane it will achieve speeds in excess of specifications ! AND, no engine modifications are required. Of course this assumes an altitude high enough to achieve terminal velocity. Try it, it will work!!
