not had to change this on any yet but normally with BMW's you need them to be plugged into the programing side of thing's and change settings like this in CKM, probably dealer only unless anyone know's if anything like the GS911 will do this??

when i fitted my akro silencer i kinda thought the same about it's value but now happy i made the decision to buy it. at the end of the day i love the look's and the performance gain, noise isn't everything!!! my old T-max had a full akro system and after fitting it i ran it without the baffle...

lucky for me, i get paid to work on mine at our dealership :cool: it can have it's downside though as customers bikes take priority and i have to wait for a quiet slot.

That is the head of the spindle and the other end is threaded, you will need a tool to undo it. Over here in the uk you can buy a small multi sized tool for this job and they are not expensive.

interesting thread this, i have never seen the oil warning on my sport and i sometimes ride it hard and through very twisty roads over here in the UK. it is interesting as i have had a couple of problem K1600GT's on my ramp with the same complaint and the oil level sensor has always been in good...

yes, different handlebars on the GT. i also feel more cramped and arms out on GT's, one of the reasons i chose the sport.

i was intending to replace the panels for looks and also to keep the originals off so they don't get any worse so i can put them back on when and if i sell the scoot.

i have some real annoying stone chips on the painted panels of my front mudguard and wondering if anyone has fitted carbon fibre replacement panels?? if they have, which ones and how good are they? i was thinking of 3M vinyl wrapping them but proper carbon looks so much better.

I take it you are looking at the rear brake caliper and not the parking brake? there isn't much meat on the parking brake pads but then they should'nt wear too much.

Today i updated a 2014 GT, must admit i did'nt take note of the build date but it took the update. This does help with the running and helps with low rpm issues.

i use the BMW trickle charger and i had to make up a fly loom when i first got the scoot as the socket in the l/h compartment is a car type plug. after doing this i bought a power socket and fitted it into the underseat bin, using the hole moulded in and the spare plug on the loom under the r/h...

As stated, the front strainer is removed but is replaced with a plastic tube. This is done at 600 miles. Every service is done by removing the drain bung in the sump and the rear strainer and this is either cleaned or replaced and the oil filter canister is replaced.

when we first started selling the c600/650 we could'nt get hold of the castrol 15/50 and we used 10/40. i would say that the 20/50 is too thick. i run the castrol 15/50 in my 600 sport and i have no issues at all. worth checking that on the 600 mile service the front strainer was changed for the...

mine came through today, it wont hold the twistgrip so not happy. it was a cheaper version and hasnt the rubber band with it so that might be the problem.
