    Handlebar locking

I find it's really hit and miss (more miss than hit) to get my handlebar locking to work. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a trick to it or does it need to be fixed by the dealer? Ron Grimes

What Does This Mean - Battery

I'm used to the battery warning when the scooter is charged to 100% and it can't do regenerative charging. But, this showed up in spite of it saying right below it that the battery is "OK". Any ideas what it means? I tried scrolling through the menus to see if there was a message, but didn't...

    CE-04 Taillight Solution

I just ordered this (see BMWELECTRICMOTORRAD at Etsy). Seems like a nicely done, very solid solution.

    Check High Beams

After 15 months with this bike, I pulled up behind a pickup where I could see my reflection pretty well. I don't know why it occurred to me, but I thought that would be a great time to check my high beams, which led me to discover only the left one comes on. So, since it's not something you...

    Speed Accuracy

I have noticed pretty consistently that my CE-04 shows a speed 2-3 mph faster than what the radar speed sign shows. Anyone else notice something similar? Example of radar speed sign just so everyone knows what I'm talking about.

    Long Wait Times for Service

I bought my CE-04 last August and have of course done the 600 mile service. Soon after, the bike started popping up a notice that I need yet another service check for the brakes, which is apparently at the year mark. I finally called to make an appointment and ... the next appointment available...

    Energy Recovery Limited

Anyone else seeing this when leaving the bike on an overnight charge? The manual says I should take it to get checked out, but the light goes away after a couple minutes of riding.

    600 Mile Service

I just had my 600 mile service. $80 just for the transmission fluid! How ridiculous is that? Then, of course, there was the labor, which was supposed to include belt tension adjustment, but not even the shop foreman could figure out how to use the torque wrench with the app they have to download...

    CE-04 Killer?

I just visited this site and watched their video: Horwin SK3 Gotta say, without having actually ridden one, it seems impressive. Although it has a lower top speed, it has better range (with extended battery option), more accessible storage, a nearly equally large dashboard. At 1/2 to 1/3 of the...

    Perfect Tire Inflator

I bought two of these. They're really compact and easy to use. Easily carried on the CE-04. Fanttik X8

    Wunderlich Side Case

I finally found a side case that won't clash with the aesthetics of the CE-04, and seems to blend in without distracting the eye. Unfortunately, they don't sell them out of Wunderlich America. But, they told me they could order one from their European counterpart for me. Wunderlich Business Bag

CE-04 For Sale - Heads up

Happen to run across this CE-04 demo bike with 482 miles on it (it's in England). See https://www.pidcock.com/used-bikes/bmw/ce-04/136494.htm

    CE-04 Costs Too Much?

After seeing this, I no longer feel I paid too much for my scooter. See Trek Fuel EXe 9.9 XX1 AXS

    High Windscreen - Finally!

Finally! My high windscreen is here. What a journey. I ordered it 2 months ago, telling the parts guy to order me the windscreen AND any necessary mounting parts. The mounting bracket got to the dealer within days (shipped from California). The windscreen was shipped from Europe and, kid you...

    Grip Puppies Caveat

Just as a heads-up, if you put Grip Puppies on your scooter, measure the length needed on the throttle side (so the end cap isn't covered) and shorten one of the grips to that size before installing them. If you don't, you'll end up with an unwanted poor man's cruise control. I didn't do that...

    Parts Ordering Advice

I ordered my high windscreen from my local Motorrad dealer about a month ago. Still not here. I was told that the morons in Germany send part orders to the USA by boat, which is why it's taking so long. My advice, if you want any parts fast ... order them from a European website and pay the...

    Pre-warm Seat and Grips

So, 1st world problem here. We'll be getting into cold weather riding soon. In fact, I've already had a morning ride at 50°F and that was pretty brisk; so I turned on the heated grips and seat, but it takes about 1/3 of my commute to get them heated to a point that they are actually of any...

    Testing New Alarm

Just had my alarm installed today and decided to test it out for myself. Here's a very sloppily done video (because I had to do double duty and hold the camera and do the demo). The guy I'm talking to in the middle was someone walking up about to step on my fob that I laid on the ground to put...

    Eye Roller of a Review

I read a lot of motorcycle reviews and this one is just an eye-roller, written by a short person who is an incompetent rider: review Good read for a laugh. The giveaway this person is clueless is the statement, "because the vehicle literally stalls," It's ELECTRIC! It can't stall.
