I assume you will be buying the CE 04 with the fast charger option? This allows up to 7kW charging, either 30amps on one phase or 3 x 10amps, 3 phase. Normal CE 04 is limited to ~10amps one phase or 2.4kW in which case it wouldn't make sense to buy this charger. The Juice Booster 3 would work...

Made this carrier using a top plate I bought online. Have tried two types of mirrors. Wing style definitely give more restricted view but have had worse. Not sure which ones I'll stick with. Windscreen causes a lot of buffeting. May go back to original, especially for summer. Levers feel great...

Again, you are making a lot of sense! Bit of a blunt way to limit power but a lot easier than changing the motor. You should get your moto license and I presume they will restore full power and battery.

OK I have to take back what I said in my previous post. With the faster charging option fitted the bike can indeed accept up to 30A on 3 phase (3 x 10A) or on 1 phase (1x 30Amp). Thus the supplied charger (11kW and 3 x 2.5mm wires) makes sense assuming there are other tails available to utilise...

I understand limiting the power but why do they limit the battery capacity at the same time. That doesn't make sense to me.

Very interesting! I had assumed the 6.9kW charger would be on one phase only, like it is for most EV cars. They are usually either ~7kW single phase or ~11kW 3 phase. To date I have only charged at home on a 15A mobile charger but I just went and tried the bike on my 3 phase Tesla wall charger...

Nice bike. My new CE 04 only has 460km on it. 3 x 10A? Do you mean 30A or 10A on 3 phase? On 3 phase supply you will only draw 1 phase.
