Up date, finally sold it to a guy who came out from Missoula to look at it. I only got 2,100. Least I got it gone.

I use mine for most trips to the Grocery store. I do have a backpack under the seat for extra carry capacity but I generally strap it to the back seat.

We were well received and while I only expected about 20 people at our start time I was very pleasantly surprised to see a very good draw for the opening set and people even came to the front of the stage. I guess we are a nitch band and some of the people into that were there and appreciated...

Every now and then I have a buyer who wants to come look at it. One guy did and was sold but the bike was for his wife and she was not ready for that size a bike. Another guy set up a time to see it then said his car broke down and there was going any scooter money he might have had.

That's it we saw each other's bikes LOL

Parts are slow to get there so I picked up my bike after 3 weeks in the shop and they said they would call me back in when they got the parts.

That really sucks and I worry about someone doing this to mine. I cracked a side panel on my Honda silvering and was shocked to learn it only cost 20 dollars to replace it. Perfect match too.

Still for sale. Lowered for a winter special. Raised price to 2,100 and will leave it there. Guy came out and would have bought it but it was for the wife and she was intimidated by it so he passed.

I had mine in the shop two weeks ago for the 600 Mile Service. While it was there I saw another BMW scooter all silver/gray in Color. Who's was it? I am told by the Bike Mech there are only three in the area.

I have one stretch of road I take that is 45 Mph but it's only about a mile or less. This is on the way to work. My wife could ride it to work and it's all 25 to 35. As for the Honda I have put the add back up and seeking only blue book. I won't budge on that tho...

Well the wife can ride it for one thing and I could use it for mundane errands I don't need the BMW for. Just a backup plan.

The dealer in town is getting 3200 for used bikes 2003 and 2004 am I wrong to think I can get for mine what they would get for mine if I sold it to them at a loss?

New ones for 5 grand? They were retailing for over 8 grand new. Are you saying they are worth less because they are no longer made? And I did not want to lose all that money that is why I did not trade it in but am selling private sale. More then willing to come down on price but they have to...

Well if we ever cross paths we should probably know who each other is since we're probably the only two BMW scooter riders in town.

I collect this sort of stuff from the Great War and WWII. Buying the BMW had me remembering these helmets I've seen on forums. Has me wanting to put together a reproduction :) Check that helmet out.

Well ya know we're always bragging about beating the Nazi's in the war but had they won, I think you would have gotten correct attention from BMW USA because they would just shoot them for dropping the ball! hahahah!
