2012 c600 Sport seat pop open when unlocked

Does anyone's seat pop and rise up when you unlatch it with the key?

My seat doesn't click or pop up. I have to put the stuff i am holding on the floor and with one hand turn the key and with the other lift the seat up.... its very annoying. I have tried changing the gas strut, but this only made the seat lift up faster once i had lifted it.

I have also made equiries to havea custom strut made, possibily with a sprin on the shaft.... but its not oem...

Can any owners of a c650 or c600 check their seat operation?

On both of my 2013 gt the seat barely moves when I unlock it. I think this is due to the latch and not the strut.

The strut is to hold the seat up, the seat only moves a small amount when the lock is released, was never designed to open completely.
