2016 C650 Sport. Need suspension advice for two up riding.

I think the stroke remains the same, the spring is just compressed more, so you start off with already loaded up. I don’t really understand why this affects bottoming out though, it’s still the same spring being compressed by the same load…

Less inertial impact because higher toughness (preload) arrests the motion sooner = less bottoming out
