Hey everyone I just bought a 2016 c650 sport but it only came with one key. Does anyone have any experience getting another key made for these scooters if so how did you go about it?

Must provide proof of ownership for dealer to provide to Germany for BMW to code new key. You can mechanically copy key notches but without coded chip it will not start.

One call to BMW dealer will clarify things. You can also check with one of those locksmiths who claim they can program new keys to the vehicle as that route tends to be cheaper than dealer.
