Thank you in advance - just bought one 650 out of state & probably buying a couple more buy CA DMV requires a full inspection so I have to show both the VIN & the Emissions Control Labels

My $.02 after owning six C 650 GT's ....

1. Color-matched BMW OEM top case is the best-looking and works with the same key as the ignition. Although if you buy a case separately a BMW dealer will have to give you a tumbler for the top case to match the original key. Next best is SHAD cases.

2. I had a Malossi Wild Lion slip-on exhaust on a Honda Silver Wing, which is a simple, bare-bones version of the BMW GT. It sounded THRILLING every time I rode the bike. Heads would turn on the street as I approached -- only to see a humble Honda Silver Wing rolling by. Turns out Malossi makes a Wild Lion for the C 650 GT ... https://scooterpartsco.com/100-malo...ssi-racing-exhaust-for-bmw-650-gt-p-1246.html

3. VIN # is behind the front wheel, somewhere up in the rafters. It's often on a frame tube or metal section. Pack a lunch. Bring a flashlight. It's in there somewhere.

Next week I have to import my bike from AZ into CA, once that process is finished I will add the Wild Lion - did it come with a DB Killer, did you try it with or without? What did you prefer? (In California we can Lane Split, a better exhaust makes for a safer, less stressful experience)

Alas, I never heard of a DB Killer, much less have an infomed opinion. The Wild Lion came with the Silver Wing. Only know I enjoyed the hell out of the throaty rumble.

I considered adding one to a GT, along with a Corbin seat. Fitting a white GT like that was my white whale, but I never reached that point. At the time, I averaged a new maxi-scooter every six months. I'd find a great deal, update all the maintenance, ride it for awhile, sell for a break-even price or modest profit and eagerly hunt for the next one. Definitely a labor of love.

Not dissimilar to my habits ...
