I do a trip to SD every year. Lots of good rides and stuff to see. One of my favorite trips. The speed limit on Interstate 90 is 80 MPH. We always take that back to our hotel form the Badland's after lunch at Wall Drug. It's about an hour drive and it is 2 lanes going each way. We never have an issue here because it is, flat, strat as an arrow, and never crowded. We usually do 75-80 MPH and it's fine. However not all Interstates are like that. Heavy traffic here on I-94 isn't fun in my cage, much less a bike. Some people are comfortable with it, but I know how they drive around here and I am not. I do it once in a while, not really afraid of it. It's just not fun. I don't ride when it is cold or rainy either. That is just me. I say, do what you are comfortable with and makes you happy. I have to admit I was a little more daring when I was younger.
