3 State Weekend Tour

Long weekend ride to Northwestern Illinois, Southwestern Wisconsin and Northeastern Iowa, along the Wisconsin River and down the Mississippi. Couple friends from Indiana and Ohio, we put in about 500 miles in 2 days. Was able to try out new hard cases and top rack, plenty of space for an overnight trip even with plenty of video and camera gear and a drone. Much easier to access gear and items with hard cases and park for a meal and just lock everything up. BMW is a great touring machine, plenty of power for the back roads, highways and even cruising along at 70-80 MPH on the Interstate. Tried to stay to the back roads as much as possible to find the best scenery and some twisty roads. Managed to get 51.4MPG on a tank of the non-ethanol premium available in Wisconsin.

Thanks, still getting the hang of the smaller drone, DJI Spark, nice and small to fit under seat or top box for Moto trips.

Running a replacement set of Metzelers, same as OEM. Think next set I'll try another brand. Looks like I'll only get 6000-8000 miles out of these, same as original ones.
