Use a good helmet sound system! Senna is one option, but I think as of late there's several other good options.

On my wife’s 650gt we added a garmin that had satellite radio, worked fine

Well, last year I bought 2016 with 250 miles on the clock, and the radio...
During the first service I paid few dollars to remove the radio, replacement of the right storage lid (the radio was neatly installed there) inclusive.
The reason: I love the music, and listen to it often, but I prefer high fidelity sound, which is unachievable on bikes. At times I hear gentlemen, majority on HD, blasting horrible sound about them. To hear, the “music” must be loud, while driving. If one must, headset should be a better solution.

hello, my solution was simple. just use the sena momentum INC helmet. sounds good, has intelligent noice control system, good sound quality. believe me, you're not gonna get good sound quality in a motorcycle if you try speakers at sky view. no way. the best solution is a good helmet with a good sound system on it....!.
