Another cam chain tensioner failure.

NO,NO Thats the holder for the cooler, hydralic line is to left of oilfilter. Roger.

What are you talking about? The hydraulic line in question is the object in the middle of my picture with the torx bolt securing it in the middle with the rubber seal/grommet on top. It's between the two cooling lines that feed the oil cooler.

I am talking about the object in the middle, thats the lower holder for the cooler. Look where it goes and you will understand. I have just done the hydralic chain tensioner upgrade. the hydralic line is still at left of oilfilter. Roger

How embarrassing. Yes, you are correct. I've updated my post with the correct picture. My apologies.

No one can tell with the picture you posted. You need to take a much better picture and from what I recall, you need to focus on the left side of the picture you took. That should be where the hydraulic line is if you have the hydraulic tensioner.

Yes, you have the hydraulic tensioner. The first pic you posted in the series of pics shows the hydraulic line that feeds the tensioner.

Thank you very much , so as i understand ( i hope LOL) the hydrolic one is ok and the mechanical not right ? i also find on this forum ( many thx to all for all knowledge) a PDF about the recall for tensioner and it say that engine from number 70020276 and above already get a goodtensioner...mine is 70044324 , so i assume its good ...Anyway thank a lot for your help , i will probably ask more soon , as here in Thailand , its a bit tricky to get good informations....
