Anybody have the BMW Low seat on their C650GT?

Just curious about how this compares to the oem seat. According to BMW's site, difference in height is 31.7 to 30.9 or .0.8 inches. Doesnt seem like a lot and you loose the heat. Anybody have a bike with one that can comment? BTW, my inseam is about 29" and I do OK on the current seat, though its not flat footing. I was able to handle the R12RT with a low seat, this is about the same I think.

It's a simple process to remove foam from seat and keep the heat.
All that is required is a stapler and a sharp knife.

30mm ish removed.

So you took off about 30mm. Was that just on top or did you taper the sides as well. How does the seat feel with less foam in it? Can you flatfoot it now?

Remove from base of seat foam.
Seat is now softer, allows your arse to sink.
Works for me.
