I just bought a 2018 in black & would love a White/Silver model with case - my number is (949) 274-0646 - willing to travel from Malibu to anywhere in the USA & ride back - Thank you, Mark

I know that I'm a LOOONG way from your area, central Michigan area, but I have a VERY NICE '20 C650 GT with 8,600 miles.

I've listed all that I've done to it and it runs/rides excellent. Price is negotiable.

I bought a new belt and a set of Dr. Pulley roller/sliders and install them. I went with 36gr sliders. They worked as expected, but too much as expected. The mid range was very good, but an extra couple thousand rpms at 60 mph was NOT acceptable. I removed them and re-installed the original rollers, which were like brand new along with the new belt. The original belt was only .003" narrower than the new replacement belt. Clearly the original belt did NOT need replacing, but the original is now an excellent spare if ever needed.

It had also been dropped on the right side when someone was getting onto it and scratched the running boards. I'm too particular and for $300 I had purchased a new right side running board. During the removal and replacement of the belt I installed the new right side running board. I also have the BMW retaining tool to hold the variator while removing and retorquing the clutch and variator nuts. I have a digital shop/service manual to go with it.

As you can see from the pictures, I've upgraded this one with some sound. I installed JBL Cruise Bluetooth speakers and run them through a Compuride 7" Bluetooth screen. My iPhone syncs via Bluetooth very quickly with it. It's very easy to see in the bright sun. If one did not want the system on the bike, it comes off with just two sets of power wires and four 4mm top master cylinder screws. It can be all original in less than an hour, working slowly.

If you're going to be out in the mid-US anytime soon, let me know. This is a very nice riding Maxi-Scooter. I ride it two up and the seat is very comfortable. There are no scratches or marks on the scooter, very nice!

Let me know if you would like any other pictures.

Thanks, Dan Lockwood

Facebook Marketplace in Cleveland has a '20 GT in Light White with matching top case. 4,000 miles and $6,500.

I was searching for a '20 white GT for awhile ... until my heart was hijacked by a gorgeous white electric CE 04. Here's a link if you have Facebook.

This may have been sold as the price was right & had been listed 22 weeks ago - plus she went from $9500-6500 - probably the 6000 mile service was a deterrent to further ownership

You might be right. I was in touch with the seller when the listing was new. I remember she took a long time to respond, for what that's worth. Perhaps one of those people who use Facebook very sparingly.

The price was high when I was inquiring. I think I was instrumental in bringing the price down by saying, gently, no one was going to pay $9,000 for a five year old bike with no warranty. $6500 is a good price ($6,000 would be a very good price) but like I said, I fell in love with the CE 04 and moved on.
