Anyone tried Dunlop tyres?

When I bought my 2016 C650GT a few months ago it only had 2900 miles on the clock so I suspected the tyres might be old, and this is confirmed by the date codes. The front is 0815; the rear must have been replaced as it’s 4018, and they’re both Metzler Feelfree. I’m thinking that I really should replace the front as is near 10 years old and the rubber must be losing its flexibility, and it would be a good idea to replace the rear at the same time as that’s 6 years old and it would probably take me a couple of years before I wore it out.

My local independent repairer suggests Dunlop RoadSmart 3 tyres. Anyone here used them? Other relevant comments welcome

J'étais comme toi avec mon 650 sport 2019 monté encore avec les pneus d'origine code date 0618.
Je les ai fait remplacés par des Pirelli diablo rosso et la différence est vraiment impressionnante !!
Par contre pour les Dunlop je nai pas d'avis car avant j'etais en Metzeler.

I have tried Michelin Road 4 Scooter, very nice, better than Pirelli Rosso Scooter IMO.
Michelins seemed to not need the "rub in", they were nice and sticky almost off the mark.
Be careful anyways, as my tyre tech may have removed the "new tyre film" with his special solution.

I've had the Michelin, the Metzeler, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Pirelli and the shinko. Michelin handled the best hands down, Metzler was the best cross between ride and handling, Perelli handled well, Bridgestone and dunlop were "okay". What I really noticed though was ONLY the center of the tire was worn, I no longer drag foot pegs like I did on the Goldwing or the VTX1800 or the many bikes before these, I've slowed down and ride with a little sense so I don't push the bikes like I used to. That being the case, instead of spending about $200 per tire I spend less than $200 for the set, so far I seem to get about the same miles on a set and the handling sucks, but I don't get in a situation where It makes a big difference (they still handle okay, but not up to the others I've mentioned; definitely not a track day tire). I've run Avon tires on several bikes, I wish they were in the size we need for the scooters, I've never had a bad experience with the Avon tires.
