Aux fuel main tank connection

I'm getting ready to finally plumb my aux fule tank into the main tank of my 2014 C650GT, I was thinking of adding a bulkhead fitting to the pump cover, but that won't work. Not enough room under the cover. My local BMW dealer service writer suggested the fuel vent, but could not tell me where it is located.
Can anyone here help with that? Pictures would be nice.

Thanks AAWW, I pretty sure that #4 is the hose I'm looking for.
My next question is, if I connect it direct to the aux fuel supply with an inline switched solenoid valve, will it affect the fuel system performance?
If I tee into it how do I keep my aux fuel from going out instead of into the tank?

Is the fuel cap vented?
if so, then vent pipe 4 is not required to vent.
As far as I'm aware the vent pipe 4 is for fuel charcoal filter.

no I don't thinks that the cap is vented, I had the plastic cover off, which required removing the seat, and traced the hose down to the left side of the bike before I lost it behind the plastic under the side cover.
I'm going to cut the hose and blow through both ends, if I get no resistance from the end going down the side then I'll know it's a vent.
If I do then it's either a return line or charcoal filter.
Either way I'll need to make sure my aux fuel doesn't go the wrong direction, i.e. down to the filter or injector bank.
Maybe a low pressure check valve between the tee and the filter or injector bank.

Fuel-evaporation control valve:


Charcoal filter is a big lump, easy to find if it has one.


It appears:
the vent hose from tank may just go to nowhere.
Fuel-evaporation control valve comes from crankcase then into charcoal cannister
