SORRY! I'm having to double post this question. I listed it in the General Discussion forum and it should have been in the Technical forum. If a moderator wants to delete the original in the General Discussion forum, please do.

My ignition switch printed dial is off about one setting. The key is off and it's pointing to ON. The bezel/dial seems to be pretty snug in the center plastic. I took out the two top Torx screws, but the plastic did not get any looser.

Has anyone changed out an ignition switch or relocated the bezel/dial?

Thanks in advance, Dan

It's a sleeve-type fastening system. you don't need to remove the central fairing screws.

The printed plastic strap simply needs to be turned a quarter of a turn (I can't remember if it's to the right or left), then it can be removed (or reassembled).

Thanks for the reply.

If I'm understanding this correctly, mine "may" have started to come loose and has rotated to the left one position. All I may need to do is to get a hold of it firmly and twist it back to the right, clockwise to the correct position. Correct?

Thanks again, Dan

Sorry I didn't reply afterwards.

Like said above, the bezel is a turn and lock to the right setup. I had to take the center panel loose to get a bit more looseness on the bezel and then I could turn it to the right and got it to click into place. Then reinstalled the center painted panel and all is good now.

Thanks for the help! :)

Dan
