I went for a ride with a friend yesterday. I led the way on my hooligan C 400 GT (as opposed to my Royal Enfield Meteor 350), followed by him on his RE 411 Himilayan. Here's where we went (clockwise), but he had to call it a day early because some family issues arose -- hence the highway stint near the very end:

And we ate lunch at a restaurant alongside Lake Desolation:

And later on, stopped for a break alongside the Great Sacandaga Lake:

If anyone's bored or really curious, here are four "highlight reel" videos, in order of encountering them, courtesy of the GoPro you can see (if you look very carefully) attached to the front of my windscreen, above (all ≤ 4K, 30FPS):
A) Lake Desolation Rd. (Saratoga County, NY, Rt. 12 ), 6 minutes:
B) Lake Desolation Rd. & Fox Hill Rd. (Saratoga County, NY), 15 minutes:
C) North Shore Rd. (along Great Sacandaga Lake, Saratoga County, NY), 13 minutes:
D) Walter Maxfield Rd. & Hadley Hill Rd. (Saratoga County, NY), 11 minutes:
I've posted before about the Great Sacandaga Lake area, but as this was the first time our schedules allowed our getting together for a ride I led him around this favorite area of mine. Pretty much any of the back roads in this area are fun rides -- this is sort of the foothills of NY's six-million-acre Adirondack Park Region -- and I recommend this part of NY to any rider who's near to it.
That's all I got.
