CE04 Replacement Mirrors

The CE04 Mirrors From "Temu" also available on Ebay... (Prices vary between £15 & £30) I mentioned them a few days ago.. ~ I've now fitted so here's a couple of pictures , Carbon effect aluminum, fully adjustable They include the Left & Right handed screws as required. They look so much better than the original stock Mirrors "IMO" ~
& Fitted in 10 minutes.

The mirror surface seems tiny, and isn't that the whole point of a mirror: being able to see what's going on behind you?
If they don't fulfil that, they can look any way they want, since they failed the basic requirement.

I have a set of Shin Yo Circula mirrors on my ‘04. They are round and very practical, giving a great rear view. I guess I am guilty of some fairly narrow thinking in that respect… To me, they also continue the solid/round theme established by the funky disc wheels?

As a general observation, these days folks always seem to want things to not look like what they actually are, so cars look like stealth fighters, coffee makers look like scientific instruments and motorcycles look like something Darth Vader has yet to even imagine…

Thanks for your ""Observation"" But being Convex ~ This curve gives you a much wider field of view and significantly reduces your blind spots.

Yes, but the size of the mirror surface is still relevant to readability by the human eye. A water droplet, for example, is acutely convex, but with a mirror that size would you be able to see what’s going on? Convex rear view mirrors have a long and honourable history on vehicles, nothing new there, but they need to be large enough for us to actually make good use of them,

Although I'll get myself some "3D" mirror extensions (wider, higher and further forward), the handlebar of the CE04 is really slim and so the mirrors are too far in. Unlike my GS, there the handlebar is much wider.

So I installed the Wunderlich mirror extensions yesterday and tested them on the way to work today.
Huge difference, I now can actually see what's in the other lane without pinching my arm in to see anything in the mirror.
Would recommend.
