Hello guys,

I speak French, so please excuse my level of English.

I just bought a C400 GT but I haven't received it yet. It should be delivered next week or so.

During my test, everything was positive except for two points: the great difficulty to get the scooter off the stand and the height of the seat, which was barely too high for me.

My questions: Has anyone found a modification or "trick" to make it easier to get the scooter off the center stand? In front of my house, I'll have to park the C400 on a slight uphill slope and I'm afraid I won't be able to get it off the stand. I read in a forum that this problem was caused by a design error in the stop.

Has anyone installed the low seat on the C400? If so, is the low seat less comfortable than the high one and is the height gain really interesting?

With my anticipated thanks for your answers.

Ivan

Ivan,

Congratulations on the new ride!

I also have the C400GT. I have problems getting the scooter off the center stand especially on a smooth surface....like my garage floor.

Try giving the bike a quick jolt forward. If that doesn’t work, try putting your foot in front of the center stand.

I don’t think it’s a design issue but more an issue with the weight of the bike.

How are you liking you new bike?

For my wife's C400X on the center stand on a smooth floor like concrete, all you have to do is put your left foot in front of the center stand. And then push forward. As you push forward, the center stand will retract easily. This will not hurt your left foot.
