Two weeks ago I had my rear tire replaced at a non-BMW shop. Since then, the center stand has been grounding often in turns and over obstacles.
The new tire is the same as the old one, and the suspension preload is still at "3".
When I park the bike on the sidestand and look, the centerstand appears to be resting firmly against its stop.
Any ideas what's happening?

Did you put on weight?

Maybe double check how tight/solidly the center stand rests against the stop, and check whether perhaps that stop is no longer in the same place it used to be / in the correct place? Is the tire the correct height spec?

- Tire profile the same (as opposed to just the same specs)?

- Are the shocks length-adjustable (hey, some aftermarket ones are), and, if so, could they have been messed with by the shop?

- Do the shocks have alternative mounting holes?

- Does the center stand have alternative mounting holes?

- Did you check the air pressure in your tires lately? (The shop certainly messed with the pressure in the rear.)
