Coolant level check?

I have had my C600 for a few days now.
I have tried to check the coolant level but I can't see a thing through the slot!
I assume the best method would be to remove the panel so that you can see the expansion tank.
Anyone know how to do that?

The best way to check the coolant level is to see how many people turn their heads to look when you pass by.

The footboard plate screw holds on the panel to fill, this will also help you see the level. I check mine by waiting till everything is cold and shine my phone light up between the gap between exhaust down pipes and back of expansion tank so it shines through to light up coolant.
