New to this forum, I say hi to all of you 
I live in the Netherlands, riding motorbikes for 45 years as an easy cruiser, not a racer.
Since 2021 I rode my C400GT (2019) with pride and pleasure until something totally unexpected happened…
What happened:
While cruising at a speed of 80 km/h, suddenly the motor instantly stopped. Road assistance took it to my dealer and they diagnosed : CRANK SHAFT broken behind FLYWHEEL. The flywheel and the shaft caused a lot of internal damage to the engine.
The bike was not overloaded and the road was flat and smooth.
There was no over heating and enough oil in the engine.
Suggested solution:
Replace the engine or get a new bike.
My question:
I wonder how this is possible that the crank shaft can break?
Is there amongst you someone with the same experience or ideas?
Do any of you have experience with leniency from BMW in a case like this?
