CVT Rollers

I am servicing my C650GT at 30000klm, I am also changing the belt. Upon inspecting the rollers I noticed two of them are worn a little on one side.My question is can I still use those rollers or do they need replacing?
 
Hi,

In addition to the good advice you've already received, I recommend that you also replace the 4 sliders. With 30000 km they can start to be well worn. At idle, this produces increasingly loud transmission clattering noises, as the operating clearances increase with slider wear. This also causes vibrations and ultimately increases roller wear.

In the BMW spare parts catalog, the original sliders are sold at the same time as the rollers. So there's no need to hesitate.

You can also take the opportunity to fit Dr.Pulley or TechPulley rollers and/or sliders in place of the original parts.

Dr.Pulley sliders fit better than the original ones, and their material is better. It's worth thinking about.

Just chiming in to tell you I am very happy about putting Dr.Pulleys sliding rollers 42g into my 2017 C650 Sport.
Stock rollers were 43g, I weighed them.
It revs up nice when I am solo, and pulls fiercely when I have a pillion passenger of 70kg. I did not expect that!
Pulls really really nicely, not much else to wish for. I do have a GPR Furore exhaust and K&N filter though.

Yeah thank you for your reply...I ended up purchasing genuine rollers..... next time I am going to go with your recommendation and use Dr Pulley Sliders.
