I had a C650gt back in the day, till reversed over by some Russian lass parking her tank SUV in San Francisco.

Out in the burbs of the Bay Area of SF and now… Owner of a c400gt. Lighter and nimbler and just fine for my use case.

Minor tweaking of bike to come, wunderlich hand guards and GIVI top box already incoming.. I’m sure just the start of the fiddling with the workhorse.

Welcome to the forum. And the world of 350cc engines (I have two of those, a C 400 GT and a Meteor 350)?

If you want to get some ideas, I've put a fair amount of add-ons goodies on my former '22 and my current '23 C 400 GT:

Pics, captions, links in there, some of which might jog your memory or catch your interest, regarding stuff to put on a new bike.

Very fine list of stuff, much respect for all the farkling! Cheers for the welcome. Tucano urbano scooter blanket coming for the winter as well I think, seen that in Europe, dry and warm times extends the riding season nicely!

Thanks for the kind words.

By the way, if I understand you correctly, if a Givi top case is already on the way to you, so be it, I'm sure it will be fine, etc.

OTOH, I've had large Givi top cases -- 50-something-liter cases -- on a couple of Burgman 650s over the years, and I'm way more pleased with the expand-o-matic Shad I recently put on my C 400 GT.

That Shad goes way down in its smallest setting, and I think looks very nice that way. On its largest setting, it can hold a second helmet for lunch stops with my wife, and even a jacket or two. Plus, I got it at a very good price. You can read about this in a thread I started about two months ago:

The Tucano cover is what allowed me, and many fellow-riders in Geneva, Switzerland, to ride my Honda 300cc scooter year-round (except when there was too much snow on the ground, which happened only ocasionally). Maybe also get those muffs for the handlebars.

Fun fact, I had a Honda sh300 many years ago in London and even snow wouldn’t stop me, also a tucano urbano blanket for winter on that, would trap radiator heat from the engine very nicely. Lovely! Two feet down with the motorbike boots being like outriggers for stability and keep the speed down. Off and push over ice up gradients though.. don’t know if I would do that now! Plus Bay Area not renowned for snow at this elevation. Donner pass and Tahoe and the Sierras… a bit different. Lifted defender on snow tyres and away we go!
