Hand and seat heater switches

I am hoping someone may help me, I live in AZ. I have no use for the heated accessories.
My question is , may I clip into the heater circuit and use the hand switches for other accessories?
Or, will the computer throw a code? and I would need some kind of night school electrical engineer degree to figure it out?

Sorry, I have no idea, re codes (if any). I just thought I'd let you know that I like your thinking -- perfectly good (and in your case unused) switches.
