Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

BTW forgot to mention in my post that I use black heat shrink tube over that location to stop the wear ….works a treat
That is a great idea. Awsome!! Thanks for sharing that I have a bunch of that stuff and will do the same. I was trying to figure out how to get some rubber or leather to stick. The heat shink solves that problem.

mgg, please post a photo showing where the heat shrink is installed.

Thank you!
I have not put heat shrink on yet as I did not have a piece that would fit over the ball at the end of the brake lever. I might have something bigger just have not checked yet. It would go over the brake lever right where the pin holds the lever closed. If I get it done this weekend I'll post a picture.

For a simple bodge I cut a slice off an old inner tube, knotted it in the middle to give a loop at each end the put one loop over the handlebar and tuck it out of the way. When required, stretch the other loop over the brake lever to hold the brake on.

The heat shrink was from Bunnings is 20mm ( size required) paid about $8.00 for 600mm length.
Cut off about 30mm put clear quick grip inside then slipped it over the lever carefully heated with heat gun …perfecto

Even simpler, a Velcro strip
I don't know? I like your idea but once you get the one button thing mounted correctly it really works easy and well. I mean pull the brake, push the button, and realease the brake, whalla. Also it is so elegent that I just really like it. PITA to install though.
