Can anybody let me know if it’s possible to disconnect the heated grips, on my C400Gt. Think I have a problem they have been acting up lately , now my battery has been drained, what to eliminate them as the issue

Check Manual to see if they have a separate fuse, pull it.
The owner's manual for the C 400 GT is particularly unhelpful with regard to the grips:

The service manual simply repeats the fuse information found in the owner's manual.

The service manual does show the locations of the plug locations for each grip. If I follow it correctly, the left plug is sort of out in the open, while the plug for the right grip requires removal of part of the switchgear cover.

In any case, it certainly seems as if there is no fuse dedicated solely to the heated grips (or solely to anything else).

Assuming that the switch for the grips works , I'd just make sure that the display shows the settings going from 3 to 2 to 1 to off, leave them at the no-display, i.e., off, position, and investigate something else (although I'm not sure what that would be). I suppose it's possible that the grip elements can develop a short, but I'd think that that wouldn't matter, i.e., I'd certainly be very surprised, if they get any electricity if they're turned off. I suppose the switch can become defective, too, but if the display shows the 3-2-1-off sequence, I would think that the switch is working.

@Gerryaticspark :

- I think you should buy the PDF shop manual if you haven't done so already. See this thread, for instance: https://www.bmw-scooters.com/index.php?threads/bought-pdf-shop-manual-for-c-400-gt.2474/

- What year is your C 400 GT, and is it still under warranty?

- Did you make any electrical changes, to the bike yourself, adding lights, etc.? Any electrical work, or a jump start, or anything like that lately?

Is your C400GT stock or have you made changes to the bike such as adding lights or a USB charger?

I’m wondering if there’s a parasitic draw.
