Hello from County Armagh, Northern Ireland. I've just changed from an HD Electra Glide to a BMW C650GT scooter. I've been a fan of the BMW motorcycle build quality for many years so when I considered downsizing it had to be a BMW though I'm not ready for an electric bike just yet. I collected my new (to me) 2017 scooter near Inverness, Scotland on Monday evening and rode 250 miles on Tuesday to catch the ferry back home. I'd love to hear from any BMW scooter riders in Ireland. Hi there, I'm originally from Louth, not too far away. But now live in South Kilkenny. Experimented with the electric CE04. It didn't work out. Went to a C400GT. I wasn't a bike rider prior to these two bikes. I love the C400. Perfect for my commute and equally at ease going for the a ride. Been to Cork and back, been to Louth and back both from S Kilkenny. No bother. Gotten a new open face helmet for riding around town. Looks the biz. Love the bike.
