I tried pushing and turning left but it just opens the gas cap? (just got the bike 2 wks ago)

Help my seat won't close!

Push key in turn the key right (clockwise) to open the seat left (counter clockwise) to open the gas cap. No need to turn the key to close, them just push closed.

Take a look at it and you will probably see the latch is closed. Turning the key clockwise (like Justscootin said) will release the latch and allow the seat to lock.

If that doesn't work, just install Dr. Pulley sliders. That'l fixer.
