Can anyone tell me the part number for the Timing Chain Tensioner on a 2016 C650gt non hydraulic (UK)

My BMW Dealer say's they don't make it anymore and they only do a Hydraulic change over which will cost loads £££'s

I actually got thrown out of the showroom today for arguing about the part! I cant believe a part for a 2016 machine is no longer available.........................

You Sir are a star! only 1 in the whole of the uk and BMW have it...................... I'll have to put on a false voice when I 'm ordering it :D
And get my wife to collect it!

When I last looked into this the hydraulic tensioner price seemed reasonable, it was the price of the connecting hose that was high. Maybe you could buy a new tensioner and have the hose made up locally? The MK2 mechanical tensioners have also been know to fail.

I have an engineer friend! he's going to see if he can modify the old one, once it is out and he can tear it to pieces? watch this space
