Hesitation has been taken care finally

After i bought my BMW C650 GT it was good from 2.200 miles until around 3.500. I am the 2nd owner of
the bike. From time to time the bike when i started taking off it would hesitate. There were a few times
that when i talk off from a complete stop the bike would hesitate n make the bike swerve a bit that did kind
of scare me. But since i finally had a dealer buy NEW rollers n i gave them the new after market Mitsubishi
belt with the BMW stamp on it. Had them put both new parts on the bike n do oil change n transmission
BTW the same 15w50 was used in the transmission 2 dealers said it's ok. Now there is NO hesitation at
all at 17.333 miles. The old variator belt looked good but once you looked inside wear it showed cracks
all the way around. I had asked them to check IF i needed new chain rails. They did check the tension
on the chain it was still perfect No adjustments needed or chain rails to replace. I wonder why the rollers
went out of round so fast? New to me was at 2.200m. n started that hesitation at 3.500. But i am very
happy with that hesitation gone.

My guess (and that's all it is) is that the hesitation was due to the old rollers, not the belt. But, the important thing is it's fixed, hopefully 'forever' now.

The hesitation started at speed 2 mph n went up to 30 mph. I had forgot to add
that in still NO hesitation now at 17.500

was there any clutch issues?
theoretically, asymmetric clutch engagement causes excessive vibration leading to that hesitation

The BMW tech guy said no there was not excessive vibration

This could have been a belt slip then. When the belt is worn it is narrower so it slips more at lower RPMs. Rollers have nowhere to go, and the mass is not significantly decreased (not really discernable e.g. much less than 0.5g) so centrifugal flyout is the same but if they are worn too, lesser diameter of rollers means pulley is further away from [narrower] worn belt so there you go. Anyway, congrats on all is well now.

Then why would the hesitation start around 3.500?? when i bought the bike it had
2.230 miles on it n there was NO hesitation until 3.500 it's weird. Cuz the former
owner had a dealer do ALL the work on it. I still have all the paperwork.
