I thought they were also assembled by Kymco. Dang....now I'm gonna have to get rid of that damn impostor.

I figured it was OK to buy my Sport because the engine Wasn't built in Germany.

I worked in a Datsun dealer in the seventies after working in a MB dealer, and the Datsuns were night and day more dependable.

Went on two rides this weekend with a co-worker. First ride, the C600, 140 miles, almost to Sequoia NP. Great bike, don't know why I'd get rid of it. Comfort, power, yada yada yada.
Next day, similar ride, same guy. 160 miles in a different direction, towards Yosemite NP. This time the BV350. Amazing! If this bike had 5 more HP it would be just about perfect for one rider, as an only bike.
My wife passed on the ride even though my co-worker and his wife (teacher also, that makes 4 out of 4 of us) came on the second ride. Beginning to think maybe the two-up riding is not so popular with her.
Anyway, great weekend for riding, love both bikes! Lucky to have two. If only the BMW wasn't so expensive to maintain.

She doesn't miss coming along. She really isn't into these sorts of things. Doing her nails, reading, that's her stuff. Though she said she'd go with us next time. She just didn't feel like going, "other stuff" needed to be taken care of.
I am also not a pressure kind of person. If she wants to come, then come, she knows that. I do know that if I booked another getaway trip, she'd go.

Went out today, early since the time change. Went from my house in Fresno and followed California 49 (The Golden Chain Highway) all the way to Columbia State Historic Park. This route goes all through gold rush towns from the CA gold rush of 1849.
6:30 AM, fog settling but lifted fairly quickly.
Mariposa Mineral Museum, quick stop, about 7:45 AM.

Now entering "The Little Dragon", I took this rode in the spring on the BMW
Historical Marker before going down:
About 20 miles later, the town of Coulterville, not much there; but still a few historical sights.
And this guy is there too:
On to Jamestown. Just a quick pass through, like most of these towns, their cute and touristy, trying to hold on to the nostalgia. I must admit, while traveling along and through these towns, it's easy to let your mind do some timetraveling.
Didn't take pics of the town of Sonora, probably the biggest of the all. Not sure why. Anyway, I made it to Columbia State Historic Park. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia_State_Historic_Park

skutorr, definitely. Went right past your place, early Sunday. Maybe the week of Thanksgiving, depending on schedules and weather. Band stuff the next two Saturdays (12th & 19th) so that means this Sunday will be a catch up day. Will keep you posted.
